Concept: Jenny Abner is a musician who needed CD artwork for her album "Home." Her music dealt with the concepts of growth and transformation after the loss of a   loved one. Our challenge was to create a metaphorical representation of her story while featuring the lyrics of her music. Iconic butterfly symbols and roses illustrated her theme pictorially. In addition, the use of color and texture further embodied the mood and feel of her album. For her cover a color palette in Photoshop was developed and the composition was digitally painted using a digital Wacom pen tablet.
